How to get files back if I emptied the trash?

I've emptied the trash and found that lots of files are still needed. Any way to get them back?

MacBook, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Ok,Hope to help you.

But if you keep doing wrong things such as the read-write operation, the probability of file recovery will decrease to 20%~50%.So hope everyting is good.

Hey!!! Buddy!!! Love you so so so much!!! It's incredible but I really want to say thank you thank you thank you!!!! This helps me to get my files back!!!

Very happy to hear your good news! But I've to remind you that the chance of recovering the files is not everytime you can get. So build a backup for your files is very important for avoiding file loss. Use iCloud or external drive is the main point to back up files.

1. If you meet the file loss situation, keep calm and stop using your computer to do any read or write operation until you find the way to recover the lost files because any wrong operation.
2. Remember this, no matter at the normal time or after files recovery, build a backup for the files periodically is the best method to protect your files from data loss situation.
3. If your hard disk has enough space for storing the files, then there is no need to empty the Trash Bin quite often to avoid the wrongly deletion which makes the unnecessary trouble happens.
