CTRL-ALT-G does not work in GB

how can I deavtive the shortcut CTRL-ALT-G for OSX to use it for Garageband ??

GarageBand (Mac) '11, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

For me, crtl-alt-G is still working. Only, GarageBand 6.0.5 is not showing immediately, that it changed the region. I have to click and select the region again after pressing crtl-alt-G, to make it turn purple.


But if another application has stolen this shortcut, do the following:

  • Quit GarageBand.
  • Open "System Preferences" and go to the "Keyboard" panel.
  • Press the "Shortcuts" tab.
  • Look through all keyboard shortcuts bindings in the list, and disable any binding that is using ↑⌥G
  • Close the System Preferences and restart the system.
