Connecting Jaz

How do I connect my Iomega Jaz drive (1GB) with its SCSI cable to my G4 IMac? I am using OS 10.4.7.

I only need to transfer some files from the Jaz to my iMac. It had been connected to a G3 tower.
Thanks,
Mitch

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.

You'd need a pricey SCSI-to-Firewire convertor. I suspect drivers may also cause issues though.

Instead I advise that you connect the Jaz drive to the PMG3 transfer the data on to the G3 and then use an Ethernet Cross-over cable to network the two machines. See this recent post.

A nice option could have been Firewire Target Mode but neither SCSI nor the PMG3 is supported.
