I cannot turn on my airport?
I cannot connect to my wifi, I've followed the instructions above and no luck. It keeps telling me the airport is switched off but when I press turn on it does nothing. Help!
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
In system preferences/network the turn airport button does not turn it on?
If you click the advanced button is the require Admin password to turn airport on/off checked?
Have you run all updates?
If you are in fact running 10.5.8 as your profile says.

You can also take your Mac to an Apple store for a free evaluation, maybe there is a hardware issue.
