I have just upgraded from a 5 to a 5s. I have noticed that the white background on the screen is a slightly duller white on the 5s than on my 5 even though the brightness is turned up to full. It's like it isn't as stark
My daughter has a new 5c and it's the same.
My old iphone 5 seems to be the clearer and sharper phone :(
Is this a problem or are all the new phones like this?

If you like, change Settings > General > Accessibility > Increase Contrast
I have tried that but doesn't make a difference to the colour.
Maybe I just have a very good iphone 5!! I should have stuck with that one.
I might go into apple with the two phones and they will be able to see what I mean.
Apple have done something with the a7 chip I think to save a little more battery
It can't just be the A7 chip as my daughters 5c is the same.
We'll the 5c is defiantly brighter than the 5s so I don't know what is wrong with your daughters 5c
