Encountering the same issue. Up to last early last week iTunes radio was working fine. Now no matter what I do it says ;

Station Unavailable

XXX is temporarily unavailable. Try again later.

It doesn't matter which station I switch to or how much later I try again, same message. On both iPhone 4S and 5S running 7.0.4.

- What suddenly happened?

I have a theory about this..

I have two radio stations -- Enya Radio and Orchestra.

Enya Radio is never available.. well, it is if I delete it and then re-add it. It works for one song maybe two and then becomes unavailable. Orchestra on the other hand is always available.

Here is my theory.

Apple has a limit perhaps imposed by the licensors as tothe maximum number of streamers per "statioin" once that is exceeded then you get the unavailable message. My guess is that popular content has more users and thus the limit.

My guess also is that desktop users have a different limit than mobile users.

Anyway--it is frustrating. I may just drop Music Match and go back to Pandora as I can't just listen to what is not popular each day.

I have to agree with ProfPlum on this one. My situation is no different. That is, I've hard rebooted, soft rebooted, signed out signed in, deleted stations, recreated them and keep running into the same "XXX station is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"message for my Vitamin String Quartet station. However, I cannot replicate the error with my Grant Green radio station (less popular, I guess). If the issue really were a syncing, authenticity, or hardware issue, wouldn't ALL of my stations be impacted equally?

Please look into this Apple, or at least come out and admit that ProfPlum's theory is true!

This is happening to me also. I have only one radio station that I have created and for the last week or so it has been "temporarily unavailable". The music I have would not be among the most popular, so don't think that theory applies in my case. Maybe there is a limit to the number of artists per radio; I do not know. I have only recently had access to iTunes Radio as I am in Australia. Oh well, at least I can listen to Pandora, TuneIn Radio and Freegal.....

I am still having this problem after several weeks. My station has been 'temporarily unavailable' for ages! One theory I have heard is that there is a limit to the number of artists you can add to a station. The number 15 has been suggested. So I think I will try and split my 1 station into several (tedious!). Pandora, TuneIn and Freegal looking good!

Summary - try deleting "never play" artists/songs.

I was trying out iTunes Radio vs. Pandora today. I created a station on Pandora, then seeded the same artists on iTunes Radio. After a while, iTunes just stopped playing. Since Apple likes to hide as much information as it can to avoid confusing its users, I could not tell why it stopped. Had to start experimenting. I was playing through an AirPlay device, so the first thought was that communication got lost. I have seen this behavior when playing my own library through AirPlay, and a good resetting of all involved devices usually fixes it. In this case, nope. Next time, try other sources before assuming the communications are down. Started searching about and found this thread mentioning that there is some limit on the number of seeds. That doesn't make much sense, since you'd hope that the designers would just stop accepting additional seeds, or drop ones off the list, or somehow prevent the UI from making the application worthless. Anyway, I proceeded to drop seeds until I was down to two. Still didn't play. Then I dropped one of the "never play" artists. Aha! The station immediately started back up and started playing that very same artist. Not sure if this is universal, but it is a clue for folks. For me, I'm going back to Pandora. Thanks.
