You can check on places like www.gazelle.com, amazon's recycle site or Apple's recycle site to get a feel for what the recycle value is (keep in mind that those quotes are also factoring in that the buyer expects to make money on the device or parts). Also Apple's online store still has plenty of refurb iPad 4s for sale, so bear that you may need to ask at least less than that to draw a buyer.
