can´t sync my iPad with iTunes

How can I sync my iPad with iTunes. I´ve tried once and again plugging it in, plugging it out. Restarted my iMac 2 times and nothing. It doesn´t even apper on "Devices" menu... I need to erase one app that is not working and can´t do it from the iPad.

Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Look for app>Delete app
