i have forgoton restrictions password, how do you reset it?

I used 1234 as recommended by another user. I didn’t recall ever setting a PIN for restrictions and now it seems it was set during an up date. I would suggest before resetting phone try the default 1234. Work for me

Restore to a backup if it was taken when the code wasn't on the phone, or reset the phone back to factory defaults if you don't have such a backup (after copying off anything that you want to keep)

Yes, it will. That's why you restore the device as new.

Are you sure that that is the default pass? Seems a bit too obvious.

There is no "default" passcode. The passcode you have on your phone had to be explicitly chosen.
