Japanese keyboard (romaji)

I was typing in japanese keyboard and I was trying to type the kana ん with the letter n. However instead of getting ん it just shows the English letter n. Why is it? (I can type ん now because I'm using the kana keyboard but I'd like to be able to use the romaji keyboard as it's so much simpler)
