FaceTime Doesn't work after Mavericks Update.

Ever since I updated my Macbook Pro to OSX Mavericks my FaceTime hasn't worked. Everytime I try to call FaceTime just says "FaceTime Failed" please help!!!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

So , is there a solution? mine keeps verifying but it never goes thru, sometimes it goes back asking me agarin to sign in
