I've upgraded to OSX 10.9.1 relatively recently. Since upgrading i've noticed that the Macbook reboots everynight. Unsure of what time. If iTunes is open, it seems to stop a reboot if there are active downloads. Otherwise it's guaranteed to reboot at night only. I've had a look at power settings but cannot find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I've located another post mentioning to check in the security settings and unchecking "Log out after xx minutes of inactivity (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1162579 and
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/905680) I've unchecked the item and will check what the outcome was in the morning and feedback.

So it seems that unchecking the "logout after" option did the trick.
I had the same problem(macbook pro) and my security settings was set to "Log out after 60 minutes of inactivity" - causing the automatic nightly reboot. Your post helped me resolve this problem. Thank you!
