Do you part exchange ??

Apple don't do part exchange - if you want the current model then you are likely to get more for your existing iPad by selling it privately (e.g. to family, friends, eBay, cragslist etc) than trying to find a store that does do trade-ins (which for the first gen iPad there might not be any anyway).

Apple has a recycling program whereby you can trade an old product in for a gift card that you can use toward the purchase of another device, but like King Penguin said, you will likely be able to get more if you sell the iPad on your own.

Another site that gives a reasonable price for used iPads, iPods, iPhone, etc. is www.gazelle.com so you can take a look there and see what they offer.
