How can I get the Apple Seed invitation code?

I would like to be a tester of Apple products. Can anyone tell me how to be a part of them?

Even Developers have a hard time being noticed by Apple as the "perfect" selection for testing their Award-Winning products. As a matter of fact, I am a Apple Developer who is actually in the proccess of purchasing a Macbook in order to begin the development of numerous different programs for Apple.

I would be somewhat interested in prerelease versions of iOS. I am not really interested in prerelease versions of OS X, since the last couple of releases have not run very well on machines with spinning hard disks. It appears Apple is (prematurely) not optimizing OS X for machines with spindle hard disks.

My 2011 MacBook Air with an i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and an SSD runs Yosemite very well, but my 2011 iMac with an i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB standard hard disk does not. On the other hand, Windows 8/10 still runs well on less advanced hardware.

Have you read this thread at all? Apple asks you. They don't take applications. No one in this thread works for Apple. Should they open up beta testing to people who want to apply, it will no doubt be very big news.

Yes I have. All 18 posts. I understand Apple does not accept applications to beta test their software. I understand Microsoft is far less draconian in releasing prerelease software.

I also (now) understand that Apple's forum software is not optimized to allow Google Chrome to save user passwords. How annoying!

Since you are only interested in iOS testing only - you do realize that once you install a beta iOS, there is no way of going back? If the beta bricks your iDevice, you will have a brick until the public version is released. My recommendation to anyone interested:

Unless you have two iPhones or iPads, be very cautious.

In the meantime, sign up as an iOS developer.
