Badging issue

In 2012 I downloaded 1000 images into my Aperature library. I open the library today and all the images have a badge that indicates the original images are not able to be found. I tried to relocate the originals but it says it can't find any originals. I can see the images, I can double click on them and make them big enough to see, but I can not edit these images. They are the normal 22.5MB size (RAW files). So what has happened and how can I gain access to the images?

I am currently using OX 10.9, Aperture 3.5.1 on a Mac Pro laptop. The Aperature libraries live on an external drobo hard drive.

Thanks, Mark

Yeah! Neither of my Aperature books had mentioend the Alt+CMD trick.

Mark, the Aperture Online Manual is actually quite good and worth reading. One of the best manuals I have come across.

You may want to have a look at the manual as well, if your books omitted the Library First Aid Tools.
