HELP!!!! slide to unlock, screen and all buttons not working

after i took a photo, my iphone 4s suddenly stopped working.. i press the home button then suddenly it was locked and i can't seem to unlock it. "slide to unlock" isn't working also my "power off" button's not working (good thing my assistive touch is acivated) the initial remedy that i thought of was to turn my phone off in order for it to reset...so under "device" button- (assisstive touch), i long press the "lock screen' button to reset my phone but the thing is i can't slide to power off my phone. are there other remedies for me to do in order for it to work again? i cant even answer all my calls now. pls help 😟

your advice/ answers/ suggestions is highly appreciated. thank you so much.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button (ON/OFF) and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 to 15 seconds until you see the the Apple logo on your screen and wait for the iPhone to turn ON.

It can be a glitch, but you have to do the reset as Sumesh says. Or it is that the iPhone's memory is full, then you have to remove data.

I am not sure what you can do without a power switch, not the reset. Did you sync with iTunes in the computer?

hi LexSchellings.

is there an option or another remedy to hard reset my phone besides holding down the on/off and home button? because my on/off button's broken. and yes, i did sync it with itunes in the pc but nothing happened. it just automatically back up my phone.

i am actually planning on restoring it any time soon. do you think its the best idea?

and yeah, possibly a glitch i guess.. it's the first time that this happened to my phone 😟

When you connect to iTunes in the computer can you see it at all? And comes the summary page up?

Do not sync for the moment, because it will overwrite the last sync backup.

Do a "restore iPhone" (top of page) immediately, then after that you can restore "from backup" (when the iPhone's capacity is enough), (at least the last photo is not there, haha).

Tell me how far you come.

when i connect my phone to iTunes? yeah, i can see it all.. i also have enough memory left.

will restore my phone automatically then?

NO, do the restore as I said above: "restore iPhone".

Then when it is restored do the "restore from backup".

okay. i accidentally long pressed the home button then this voice control activated and now it started to play music. i can't make it stop. is it safe to just totally restore it while playing music? omg! 😮

Hello, I am having the same issues. Just upgraded my iphone 4s to the new IOS 7.01, and now I can't slide anything to activate the phone. I went to restore and it said I had to cancel find my phone... but I can't even access my phone to turn that off! Trying to hard reset my phone, but it wont happen power off. Can you please suggest something?
