Is there a way to X out days in calendar as they pass

I am trying to find a way to x out days in ical as they pass, like a paper calendar that you mark off the days. I have a problem with short term memory and I am always confused on what day it is. Also is there anyway you can put ical on your desktop in week mode with out it taking over the whole desk top?

I wish it had this feature too. I just switched from a paper calendar on Sat.

I have have been creating a new event on the day before in a color I don’t use and dragging it down the day to create a block of color indicating the day is done. That is ,y visual solution for now. I hope they will code in a mark off feature. Even for single events as you move through your day.
