Is my retina MBP screen bleed acceptable?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
Yes, that corner. Fortunately, it's invisible when viewing content and during daily use. It only shows up at dark when watching movies.
If you're still under warranty, then (were I you) I would definitely take the machine into your local Apple Store/AASP and get the screen replaced.
But if you're out of your wrranty period, I wouldn'y pay for a new screen!

If the machine is only two weeks old, then I would insist on a new screen: you shouldn't suffer any sort of non-perfection on a new computer.
Good luck,

Here is what mine looks like... It's actually noticeable in the lower left hand corner even with content displayed.
I don't *honestly* notice it while working which is what I use this laptop for but it is ... starting to concern me. I've had the laptop about a year but I do have AppleCare.
I guess what concerns me is that I always seem to have the luck of having something replaced only to get another one that's worse or has other issues. This is a lot of light bleed but I could live with it as I obviously have for almost the last year.
I do have another 15" rMBP that doesn't have this issue at all that was bought before the one I have now.
