So, the font size of the time is not large enough for you on the lock screen?

The time as displayed in the top status symbol bar? If that is where you mean, you cannot. The font and icon size is fixed for everything in the status bar. As it also is on the lock screen.

The status bar numbers are pretty small, I'd agree. I can see them fine with my glasses on, but without them, no. Although a lot of my problem is astigmatism, and I do wear my glasses all the time, so practically it is rarely ever a real problem.

Some things you can try to improve the visibility of the home screen status bar

settings -> general -> accessibility - turn on "Bold Text" , "Increase Contrast" and "Reduce Motion"

I think you're talking about the tiny numbers in the status bar at the top of the screen. If so, you can just click the on/off button twice so that the large numbers from the startup screen reappear, and then hit the home button to get back where you were.
