What do you need to hardwire a computer into AirPort Extreme? My job says no wireless. Help!

Hi

I really need some help. I am not a tech person so any advice needs to be in the simplest form.

I accepted a work from home job that requires my computer be directly connected to the router. I have an AirPort Extreme router. It operates a printer, Ipad and my computer wirelessly.

Is it possible to hardware (plug in) just my computer directly into the AirPort Extreme but still be able to use the printer and Ipad wirelessly? What cords or cables or settings are needed? Sorry I am such a computer dummy. (The company requires this because of sensitive data handling and wireless is not as safe)

Lenovo Idea Pad, Laptop 2012 model-OTHER, Windows 7, What cords or cables I need to buy?

Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to one of the three LAN <-> ports on the AirPort Extreme. Look for a port with a symbol like this: <->.

Turn off the wireless function on the computer.

You will still be able to use the iPad and printer just like before.

Ethernet cables are available at any office supply superstore, computer / electronics superstore, etc in any length and color that you might need or want.
