Safari can't find the server:
Safari can't open the page "http://apple.com"
because it can't find the server.
Please if anyone could help me with this.

iBook, Mac OS X (10.3.x), Just added a new AirPort card.
But were there any IPs listed before line 11, if so what was the last one?
I'll keep that in mind, but not thinking it's that yet. 🙂
@ BDAqua no IP's before the 11th, they were all sent to a host that was down.
I just stopped it at 11 since none we're "going through" or working.
Seems either yyour Router isn't allowing this mac to get Internet, or the Router only allows a certain number to atach to the Internet, what IP ¶ ®outer dos sys Prefs>Network show for that interface?
Open System Preferences>Network>Configure>Proxies Tab, make sure none are set, like for HTTP & HTTPS.

But sadly no proxies were checked under the configured menu.
Nor is the Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV) checked that's just under that.

My thoughts are:
Unless I have missed it there is no evidence of there ever being any wireless communication between router and Mac. If this is so then either there is a hardware fault or they are not talking to each other.
A few weeks ago I learned the hard way that it is best to test with all security turned off at the router to establish that there is adequate signal strength and there is not a hardware fault. If necessary test at minimum wireless frequency.
The next test should be at minimum security to establish that password protocols work. If difficulties are encountered at this stage it may be worth referring to the whole of my thread and the linked Apple document about joining an encrypted Wi-Fi network.
No problem, we need all the help here we can get, good advice about trying from no security up, but I took this to mean it was connecting to the Router...

Assuming M.O.B. is the Router's SSID. 🙂
I'm thinking it's a setting in the router to allow this client access or not.

Is there anyway to check & see why there would be a setting not allowing my iBook access?
My iPhone gets on fine, as well as any other product.
But I also know they are all MUCH newer.
1 - Has AirPort software version 3.2 or later been installed? The AirPort Extreme Card requires this for WPA. Even with version 3.2 I am not sure that WPA2 will function.
2 - Are the Mac's network settings correct?
3 - Has DHCP been properly setup at both ends?
4 - What is the router type?
Please note that for non-Apple wireless WEP networks the password requires 'double quotes'.

It's not an AirPort Extreme.
Just an AirPort.
The non-Extreme requires software version 3.3 or later.
Which version do you have?

How many devices are connected? Some Routers have limits.
In Sys Prefs>Network>Airport>TCP/IP tab, what is the IP and the Router IP shown?
