My iPad wont turn on? but apple logo appears

Yesterday my ipad died, I placed it on charge and a few hours later i noticed it still hadnt turned on so i used another 3 different chords. The ipad has been charging for more than 24 hours and over night. Around every 10-20 seconds the apple logo appears as if it's about to turn on but then the screen goes back to the black screen and sometimes the charging symbol appears. I've tried to reboot it many times by holding down the lock and home button and the apple logo appears but nothing else happens. if i unplug the ipad it shows the symbol of it needing to be charged so i know that the chords are working. i've had my ipad for over a year and nothing like this has happened before. someone please help me? ta x

I FOUND A SOLUTION!!!

I know this question is sort of old but I found a solution. This seemed to help me so hopefully it can help you. While your iPad/iPhone/iPod is looping get a charger ready. The Apple logo should appear and then it will automatically turn off. A spinny thing appears showing that it is turning off. While that thing is spinning plug in your charger. This way when you plug in your charger it doesnt turn back on but is still charging. After a few hourss turn your device back on and you can enjoy your iDevice. 😀

My IPAD also went into a loop and it would not start. Did all the steps and then finally did this after considering all the suggestions.

Charged my IPAD through a power bank and kept on shutting it down by touching the home and sleep button together for 20 times as soon as the apple logo appeared. After that I let it reboot and right when the apple logo appeared took the charging cable out of the power bank and waited until The home screen appeared. During that time I was ready to plug the cable back. The moment I saw the home screen the IPAD started to shutdown with the spinning symbol and I plugged the cable back. Left it for 4/5 hours and then restarted it. My IPAD showed 80% charged. That was my pursuit of happiness moment:)

Thanks to all who suggested on this forum. It was really helpful.
