I also have the missing MSVCR80.dll after a failed update but before following the suggested repair method could anyone tell me if all the cd's that I have downloaded will disappear. I have not purchased from iTunes so I'm not sure if my music is on any database or will there still be backup files in explorer?

I'm done whith this...where can I downloade the older version of itunes? (it worked just fine widows 8)
I did the whole delete and reinstall about a dozen times, I get it to work but as soon as I install icloud it stops working and gives me the error7 windows 127.

I installed itunes 11.0.3 from tt2 link and then icloud it worked, but when I plugged my iphone it said I needed a 11.1.0 or higher.
Installed 11.1.0 (without deleting anything) and so far everything is working fine.
So this may be another option to try if you are having problems.
