Restore your system from a backup created prior to using the CleanMyMac garbage.

CleanMyMac2 belongs to a broad category of time- and money-wasters capable of causing system corruption that can only be rectified by reinstalling OS X, restoring from a backup, or completely erasing your system and rebuilding it from the ground up. They are nothing but scams designed to separate Mac users from their money, which they accomplish with remarkable effectiveness.

Get rid of it and test your Mac for operation. If it does not perform normally, the possibility that CleanMyMac resulted in system corruption must be considered.

According to its web siteCleanMyMac2 is supposed to uninstall itself:

"The easiest way to completely uninstall CleanMyMac 2 is by using CleanMyMac 2 on itself.

To remove CleanMyMac 2 from your Mac:

  1. Open CleanMyMac 2.
  2. Proceed to the Uninstaller module.
  3. Find CleanMyMac 2 in the list of apps found by the module.
  4. Click Complete Removal in the Smart Selector panel to mark the application file and all it related items for removal.
  5. Click Uninstall.
  6. Confirm that you are going to remove the app in the newly appeared message.

That's it!"

Unfortunately that's not it since following those instructions will leave components of CleanMyMac installed. Reinstalling OS X will not eradicate them.

Whatever damage inflicted by CleanMyMac or similar programs will require more work to correct. Erasing your system completely followed by reinstalling OS X followed by laboriously migrating individual apps and files may be the most expedient solution.

You have an outdated version of Sophos that should not be used with the version of Mac OS X you are running. Either uninstall it, as has been suggested, or update it to the latest version. If you are going to run anti-virus software, you MUST keep it up-to-date!

You also have CleanMyMac installed. This software, along with all other "cleaning" utilities, are useless on a Mac. They are not needed, and may very well have adverse effects. See The myth of the dirty Mac.

You also have an awful lot of apps running at login for only 4 GB of RAM, considering that you're probably also running some of your other apps - such as Microsoft Office - at the same time. Although seeing most of your RAM in use is not indicative of a problem (your version of Mac OS X will try very hard to fill RAM, since free RAM is wasted RAM), you may nonetheless be having a memory issue. Pay attention to the memory pressure graph in Activity Monitor.

For more suggestions, see my Mac Performance Guide.

Well, we definitely need to go to future to update iPhones annually 🙂

The problem may be caused by incorrect CleanMyMac 2 removal by trashing the main application file and leaving all helpers and monitors behind. This may cause incorrect work and uncontrollable resource consumption by the mentioned processes. The attached logs show that daemons are running, but it's not clear whether the application file remains in the Applications folder. Could you please let me know if CleanMyMac 2 is still installed?
