Why is it that my MIDI track in logic pro x will not make any sound after I've skipped or paused?
It will only play if I start it from the very beginning. Please help.

I'd love to know the answer to this too. I'm making my way through a LPX training course at the moment, but I don't get this.
You need to go into the Project Settings (file menu) and in the MIDI tab, find the Chase button. In there select at least notes, cycle (and notes under that one). Keep in mind this is a project setting, so you either have to change it with every new project, or make a new project, change it, save that as a template, and then work from that on new projects.
