MSVCR is Microsoft Virtual Creator. It's an MS dirivitive of Java.

I've wasted a whole day trying to install the iTunes update. Apple seems not to have tested the update for Windows. I'm also getting MSVCR80.dll missing messages. I've got an appointment at the Apple store tomorrow...I don't have high hopes that they will be able to assist in resolving the installation problems. I show them this and other threads...maybe that will shake something loose.
