"MobileMe Services" have stopped working

Just recently I keep getting notices that "MobileMe" services have stopped working. I am using Outlook 2010 on a Windows 7 machine. Since I'am using iCloud, I am confused as to what "MobileMe Services" even refers to. My Email does not download. I also am getting a notice NOT to use iCloud as the primary calendar. Not sure if these are related.

I have the same problem as you have. Have you found a solution. I get this "MobileMe Services has stopped working" when I start Microsoft Outlook 2010. I also posted up my own issue on Apple community forum before I found yours. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5882646

I have not heard anything from anyone by way of an answer. I uninstalled MobileMe from Control Panel. That stopped the MM messages and I do not see any negative consequences. My iCloud still works fine, so maybe this is a workable solution. Good luck. jsrobbins

I see. But do you use the calender in Outlook and do you get notifications on schedule? I'm not sure if this works for my Outlook anymore at the moment because of the MobileMe doesn't work.

Yes, I sync Calendar and Contacts via iCloud to three computers and my iPhone. Things seem to be syncing fine. I don't think Mobile Me is actually doing anything and that all functioning is being done by the iCloud program. You may need to close out of iCloud and re-enter it. Sorry I can't help more. jsrobbins

Ok, I uninstalled MobileMe Control Panel. Outlook works now withhout problems, but some of my future appointments doesn't appear in my calender on Outlook after the sync in iTunes. Unbeliavable. 😟

Are those missing calendar events in your iCloud calendar? Check this. If so, you may need to re-sync your Outlook with your iCloud. You might try shutting off iCloud sync and then re-boot your computer and thereafter re-sync with iCloud. Everything may then show up.

I don't use iCloud and I don't even have an account. But syncing is working perfect in iTunes, but not all of the appointments comes up in the calender on Outlook. Some are missing 😕
