Treo or Blackberry?

Random question... Which do you all prefer? Treo or Blackberry? I have used palm for years, but I am thinking Blackberry for Verizon now.. Anyone have any experience with this? Also, does anyone know if the Verizon Blackberry can do Instant Messanging (AIM)..

Thanks, also I am a bit confused with some of the info on the high speed internet, basically what I am trying to figure out now is EVDO or EDGE faster?

Thanks, I have used the Verizon EVDO and it is super fast. I have never used the T-Mobile EDGE.. I am curious how fast that is/if I will notice a difference compared to the Verizon EVDO...

The Nokia E61 can do AIM, it's even built-in. 😉

What do you mean? It has both EDGE (2.5G) and UMTS (3G) support.

I just looked up the specs. The E61 can do EDGE. I was only using it for email so far, but I could do some websurfing tests...

Have you tried the sync solutions mentioned previously? Or do those not work so well like you said..

Thanks for all the replies... one last question.. for those of you with third party instant messaging clients.. do they use your text messaging allotment or do they go off of the data plan?

You do get used to the keyboard - it's very predictive. Missing Sync is great for MAC syncing (and it's free) but you can't Bluetooth sync unfortunately
