iPad mini warranty

Im about to go to apple to replace my new ipad mini (retina) because of a loose button but i bought my iPad from Future Shop and lost the receipt! Will it still be under warranty for it to be replaced?

yes, it should be. Apple will have a record of when you activated it and when it was sold.

The way that Apple can look up your warranty on a device is by looking at your serial number. Make sure before you go in that you back up your device.

You can make an appointment by going to apple.com/(what ever store you're going to) and book your reservation.
