iTunes Match stopped updating - and then stopped working
I've been using iTunes Match from day one and I haven't got any problem until last week...
I added a few songs to my iTunes Match library last monday. They refused to show up on any iOS device (2 iPhone 4S and one iPad 2). So I took my iPad and disconnected it from iTunes Match, and then reenabled it. There, each time I start the Music App, I get stuck to the "Loading iTunes Match" screen for a few minutes and when it's done, I only see the music I have already on my iPad.... I've tried so far:
- Updating iTunes to 11.1 on my PC and re-updating iTunes Match
- Over Wifi (several different networks) and over 3G
- disconnecting my device from my Apple ID and reconnecting
- Rebooting my device
- Removing all songs from my lib
- Manually syncing a song or two from my PC with iTunes
- Playing with the "Show All Music" and "Use iTunes Match" toggles to no end
It's all the same: I can't get any new songs from iTunes Match. Everytime I launch the music app, I get the "loading itunes match" screen for a few minutes and then I get my regular library.
NOTE: I have bought a few albums from the iTunes store. I can see them in my lib, but I cannot download them from the music app. The cloud transforms itself into a circle and then back to the cloud after a second or two. I can download them from the iTunes store. This is not an issue for me but it might be related.
