Unknown error occurred while registering for apple developers account

I am trying to sign up for apple developer's account. However, when I press continue after the first step of entering the account info, I get this:

Apple Developer ProgramUser uploaded file

We are unable to process your request

An unknown error occurred. Please try again.

Does anyone know why??

You are not the only one, we have the same problem here.

This time I was able to get this error. The info is correct, I went through the wizard and retrieved my D-U-N-S.User uploaded file

If I go back and edit any of the fields, replacing the existing info with the same exact info I get this.

User uploaded file
And if I just go back and resubmit I get either the last one or this one.

User uploaded file

Is this the issue that everyone else is having?

Having the same issue Ohnodesign. Like I said, I contacted devprograms@apple.com earlier and I got a response:

We're following up on your Apple Developer Program enrollment application.

After reviewing your enrollment, we were unable to verify your company information using the DUNS Number provided.

The number is either invalid or was issued by Dun & Bradstreet within the last 2 business days and is not yet visible to Apple.

So it seems my D-U-N-S number isn't active yet, while I got a "Request completed" email from D-U-N-S. Though, I reread the email from D-U-N-S, and it says "You may start using your number in 14 days." while I got that mail 7 days ago.

Maybe that is only in my case though, do you guys have the same?

Okay, maybe this is the case for you guys too, but I got an email back saying that my company was labeled as "Sole Proprietor" (because I don't have other people hired) by Apple, so I should register as an individual... That really ***** for me, as I want to use my company name in the App Store. After googling some more, it seems that alot of people in The Netherlands (where registering as a Sole Proprietor means that you have a legit company, with all the benefits) have the same problem.
