Unknown error occurred while registering for apple developers account

This worked for me. Created new Apple ID and suddently it recognised my country and there were no errors.

Still got the problem...i've created a new apple ID...but still the same problem....HELP

I have the exact same problem. I've been trying to complete the developer registation(as an individual) with 3 new accounts and it didn't work so far. I've been trying since 3rd April. Any news?

nop...it seems nobody from apple really cares...:-|

You should use the Apple contact form. They answered my question and solied the problem for my case. I guess that is the only way for now if your enrollement has this error. I ordered my enrollement and should be validated on monday. Just contact them and they will help you.

Solved after I clear all cookies in my browser.

i had the same problem like everybody here

but now is Succed

becuse i used the chrome browser

and i tried again and again but the same problem after that i using the safari browser and now is Succed for upload the photo id and i am waiting now for verify my developer account

I've had the same problem for the past 3 weeks, still no success, i tried with 4-5 different id's , 3-4 different computers, browsers, etc. Called Apple 100 times and every time they act like they are not aware of the problem.

Don't know what else to do....

Same problem (czech republic, windows 7, chrome).

It seems the web has some problems detecting your locale maybe because of your browser or email address I am not sure.

I installed Safari, created new Apple ID using my .CZ email address (so matching with my locale), then applied for developer program. During developer program enrollment forms I already saw a difference - it detected my locale, shown my correct country.

I was able to finish the order.
