iTunes Match horribly slow lately?

I have been an avid user of Match since its rollout.

Usually, when I add an album to the cloud, it takes all of 1 minute to do.

But this week (though possibly longer, as I haven't been adding much lately) it can take up to 20 minutes to match an album.

It gets through the "gathering info' stage fairly quickly but when it gets to matching the progress bar stalls.

I find it unbearable. Is this a problem with Apple's servers? In other words, is this a widespread problem, or is it just me?

At this rate I'm ready to unsubscribe.

Updating iTunes Match on iTunes is very slow, but there's also a syncing issue with the Music app on iOS 8. My iPhone 4S shows new albums I added right away. My iPhone 5 with iOS 8 still doesn't show them 12 hours later. My usual solution is restarting the iPhone 5 or checking/unchecking iTunes Match in the Settings app.

I am having the same issue for about a month now. I have also noticed that there is a noticeable gap between some songs. It's very irritating with albums with songs that intentionally are suppose to have zero gap and run one after one.

Quit sticking your head in the sand, Apple. Itunes match is HORRIBLE!!!! In fact, let me offer you a remedy: look at your watch and realize that it is time to fix this horrible program.
