I am looking for an app that will allow me to scan a code that identifies an item and check that it is loaded on a truck or not. I have searched and haven't found anything close to what I am needing. I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me.

That's not quite what I'm looking for. If I didn't need this to be mobile, that would be an ideal set up. But the main use I have for it is to scan equipment for a touring group so they can scan the equipment as it's loaded on/off the truck to see if anything was left behind.

Do each of these items have a unique identifier that you can scan?
If so, there should be hardware/software identified by the company that designed it.
My original plan was to simply make QR codes for the equipment. But a regular barcode should work the same. I just need something portable and will work fast enough that it wont delay the loading/unloading of a truck.
There are other Apps in the App store that provide this functionality. Have you done a search?
I have done several searches through a search engine like Google but I don't recall if I ever have searched just on the App Store. I'll give it another shot. Maybe tenth time's a charm.
