My iTunes updated days ago and after that my 4th generation iPod Touch couldn't be recognized on iTunes but my PC can recognize and it sees that it is an iPod Touch. I read on another forum post that stated if I renamed my iPod Touch to something else but I couldn't rename it. Has anyone had this issue?

It was working before the most recent update (11.1.4). I looked in the forums and I did not find your link. Thank you but that does not answer my question. I did all it said and it still doesn't connect to iTunes.
I did a complete wipe on my iPod Touch and still nothing shows up in my iTunes.
I am having the same problem after most recent update. Ipad, iphone and ipod not recognised. Tried everything suggested at least twice. Is apple looking at this or going to provide an answer or update?
I am runnning Windows 8.1
I'm also running the most recent Windows 8 and the most recent iTunes. I really want Apple to say something about this. It's pretty irritating.

Actually, I will keep posting on here because I want to see if other people are experiencing the same problems as I am.
IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM I REALLY UPSET WITH THIS....THE ONLY DIFFRENCE IS MY ICLOUD ISNT WORKING ITHER SO I CANT GET BAK ANYTHING...APPLE NEEDS TO STEP THERE GAME UP...I WENT TO THEM CAUSE THERE SUPOSED TO BE THE BEST

PC is recognizing iPod but iTunes isn't after most recent update. How can I fix this?
