why UMA is not activated on iphone

why UMA is not activated on iphone 5s, I consider that we as consumers have the right to have the features that are available in the market, like in my case, I am an apple devices fan, but hate that every time I see someone else with a cheaper phone than me they have better features..is upsetting that my little brother on a Samsung galaxy can make phone calls even with no cellular signal, just because the phone have the capacity to use wifi to call, iphone only have Facetime, but not everyone in the world have iphone, so I consider that as a consumer we have the right to have these features that carriers offers to us, my suggestion is to stop loosing clients to android, and get in line with the technology, and send an update that enables UMA features (Open Wifi Calling) to every one, not restricting us to just Facetime.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

I've not seen that it is dead. I guess if it is then eventually T-Mobile will be sold off in pieces which will end UMA. I still say they will be absorbed by Sprint.

Given your track record of not knowing the news (as well as your prediction), you won't mind if I do not invest in telemobile stocks based upon your commentary, do you?

The talk now is that DISH will make a play...

Your bias against UMA is well apparent from your earlier comments, so I will not hold my breath on that prediction either!

The only thing of value that was added to this thread is that it will be included in iOS 8.

I'm not sure what "solution" you posted.

Do we have to make YOU sure, or can we just continue to ignore your non-comment, comment!?

Didn't seem to work so well, did it? 😁

Well... let's take a look:

I am the only one who has posted since his "non-comment, comment" and in none of my replies do I ever respond to his request for the "solution!:"

I'm not sure what "solution" you posted.

But I am really, really glad you took the time out of your busy day to come here and add your erroneous take on the topic! 😁

I don't know the news? Where did you get that from? I notice you added nothing about SoftBank either.

I just said I didn't know what solution you posted. Still don't, which is because you didn't.

I wouldn't expect anyone to make stock purchases based upon my recommendations and I didn't make any to you.

You are a nasty piece of work, aren't you? You give Angelenos a bad name.

The bias by both of you against T-Mobile's implementation of UMA WiFi Wireless on the iPhone on this thread speaks for itself!

Where did I even hint at bias or that I don't like or want wifi calling From T-Mo or anyone else?

Perhaps you should learn to read what is actually written and not what you "interpret" as being written...

I hope you do not mind if I choose not to dignify your continued ad hominem attacks on me any further...

He replied to previous comments, yet again..

(awaiting your response, yet again)

Thanks for proving that Apple is blocking WiFi calling just as you claimed!

Some people just can't let go, can they?

In today's modern technology world, blocking a competitive feature, such as WiFi Calling, for 18 months is the home-run Apple looked to achieve in this manner.

Just as they blocked Skype for as long as they did when the iPhone first came out.

It gives them the economic edge that they sought and achieved!

Not everyone understands these economics factors, no matter how hard one may try to explain it to them!
