S-Video Output

I have a PowerBook G3 Wallstreet Edition running Mac OS 10.2.8. It has an S-Video port on the back. I can not figure out how to make anything come out of it though, and when I plug it in to my TV it does not get the signal. Does OS X support the S-Video, or is there anything that I can download to make it work?
