many tks 4 reply, leonie
these tracks were originally created in Band in a Box (don't know if that makes any diff), dragged an dropped to GB.
1) In your statement: " Since your tracks are in F#, you should create your project set to . . ." What is a project set? (please excuse, i'm a mac newbie)
do you mean i should go back to square 1 (in band in a box) an change the key sig to "C" so that it will match the apple loops ?( because of the vocal range of the song, this is the only key the vocalist could sing it in). Is "create your project set in F# something i would do in band in a box or GB
2) on making the loops follow the chord prog, you say: "you will have to transpose each of the loops for the chord progression by shifting the slider". I understand better by seeing examples (screen shots would be MOST app) lets say my song changes from F# > B -- EXACTLY what steps would i take to make the loops change from F# > B at this point in my song.
I've viewed videos and tutorials and spent quite a bit of research and homework with this issue and am pretty much at my wits end. i guess that's just the price you pay for being a newbie. any help you (or anyone else reading this post) can offer would be greatly app.

ps you are correct: it should have been+ 6 semitones. i tried +6 (+7, +5, ) nothing sounded right and i think the reason was because i hadn't tried to transpose each of the loops to fit the chord progression.
