I have just bought a HP Photosmart 5520 printer and for some reason it is not letting me Airprint from my Iphone 5 and my Ipad Air even though they are on the same WIFI network.

Hi, Since an IOS upgrade a few weeks ago my iPad could find no AirPrint printers. I had no problems before that printing to an HP Envy 4527. I tried a few things but then checked on settings and another update was available. After installing that update which said had bug fixes the iPad automatically finds the printer. Hope that is some help.
Setup Wireless Direct Printer (this printer generate it's own Wi-Fi)
1. Turn on HP wireless direct from the printer’s control panel.
2. Settings>Wi-Fi>Look for printer>Connect to the HP wireless direct network.
3. Start printing without wires
but by doing that im no longer connected to the internet if is that correct?
Okay, forget about Wireless Direct first. Try this:
1. Turn off router, printer and iPad
2. Turn on router and wait 30 seconds
3. Turn on printer and wait 30 seconds
4. Turn on iPad and test printing
Enabling Wireless Direct will disconnect your printer from your router.
