Itunes won't download

All of a sudden iTunes wouldn't work. I uninstalled it and tried downloading but it keeps failing. Windows 7 32 bit.

I have also had to uninstall iTunes due to an error after uninstalling Java and reinstalling it. The error I got was to do with APSDaemon.exe - system error and Plutil.exe - system error. I also got notified that MSVCR80.dll was missing.

iTunes attempted to update yesterday, and after 3 goes it spat out an error saying it couldn't be updated, which is when I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it thinking this would be an easy fix. Well I unistalled it through the control panel, and then tried downloading the updated version and got the save file box up but nothing more happened, hence the file cannot be downloaded for some reason. I followed the uninstall instruction I found in this community, and still not able to uninstall a number of files so I consulted MS options and used FIXit which has not completely helped in removing all the Apple files and folders which were left behind after using control panel to uninstall the iTune program.

Tried downloading the software again, and still no luck.

I am running windows 7 32 bit as well.

Desperatly need to have this fixed ASAP so a promt responce would be appreciated.

Can I get some help please. I have unistalled iTunes but still have some files associated with it on my PC which I am unable to remove in program files and common files. I have tried downloading ver 11.1.4 and get the save window up then it disapears and I get a thank you for downloading iTunes, but the save file in box doesn't open.

What do I do to remove all traces of this program so I can reinstall a clean copy???

Regards

See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. The further information section includes download links for obtaining a fresh copy of the installer.
