MacBook Pro discharges whilst off?

Hi folks,

New MacBook Pro retina, 4 charge cycles on the clock. Have noticed that if I charge the MacBook then leave it turned off and don't touch it (fully off, not asleep), I lose 2-3% of battery every 24 hrs or so. I know batteries discharge naturally when not in use, but is this rate of discharge normal? This is my first MacBook, I can't recall ever seeing this rate of discharge on a PC laptop before...?

Cheers, Gopha

sy bil.... just stop hijacking others threads that too a over year old thread. You seem less concerned about the suggestions which others and myself had suggested you to do to diagnose your battery issue.

Your behaviour seems so unethical because you didn’t even had any decency to reply to our posts in your own thread. This is so disrespectful......

sy bil, first learn to be honest with your own self and ask yourself “ Am I saying the right thing about the person who tried to help me ? "

In the power option I did say to take the screenshot of the whole window as your problem was related to the battery.

And I was not expecting any praises from you but just your kind reply to my post which you never did. And mind it, I didn’t say “unethical” because your were reading others post but only to your behaviour of not replying to our posts.

And I never said its bad to read other forums to get your problems sorted out.

Only one suggestion I would like to give you is that make it a point at least to reply back to others post or else it looks very unethical.

Peace be with you my friend and I hope your problem gets sorted out...
