I have bought a new mac mini 2012, and update os to 10.9.1. I downloaded xcode from app store with version 5.0.2
When i first creat a default iphone project and build it. it returns a failure "could not build module "Darwin"
the solution of this error reported at link is not working for me.
I reinstall xcode. the error is still there.
here is my archtecure settings:
Can somebody help me with that?

The real problem here is at Build settings in the session:
Apple LLVM 5.0 - language - Modules,
we should set Enable Modules (C and objective c) as NO

Is there somebody who could explain shortly the background of this solution? And perhaps possible (dis)advantages? I'm new to OS X development and Xcode, so there is quite a lot to learn.
i have this problem, but another 3rd party library i'm using requires modules be turned on. what do i do in that case? how do i import social now?
This doesn't work for me, I'm trying to build the module "Foundation", but I constantly get the message "could not build Objective-C module 'Foundation'". (PS: I'm writing my code in Swift)
Try it with the latest version of Xcode Version 6.0.1 (6A317).
