Using a 9w charger for ipad air.
I left my apple charger at home but i have a 9w ac adapter here. Can i use it to charge my ipad air? Does it just charge it slower?
Depends on the output voltage
The Apple charger output is 5.2V 2.4A (12w)

It says the output is 5.0 v 1.8A. So does that mean it would just charge slower and not burn up my ipad air?
important part is 5V it will just charge slower ,hope it is of reputable manufacture not a no name cheapy
an Airpad is an expensive piece of kit for the price of a Charger
Unless you are confident of the quality of the other charger I would pick up a spare geniune Apple one
