SIM not valid on a New sim free 5s

Hi ,I just bought a new sim free Iphone 5s from curry's pc world.

I put in my lycamobile nano sim and it didnt work. It showed me the 'SIM not valid' page that a locked Iphone would usually show.

It was the first SIM i inserted into the phone after I opened the box.

What do i do now?

I put in my sim in other Iphone 5 and 5s and it works perfectly fine.

Also no other lycamobile SIM's work on the phone. I tried with atleast 10 different SIMs.

The phone was unlocked for 'tesco mobile' and 'three' but it for everything else it showed the SIM not valid page.

Whats wrong?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

Ask the store you bought it from why it doesn't work. The ONLY legitimate source for unlocked iPhones in the UK for unlocked phones is Apple. No one else is authorized to sell unlocked iPhones there. Sounds like your situation is similar to those who buy from Carphone Warehouse. The phones they sell will lock to the first carrier used. ONLY the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize unlocking it.

Hello brother, I am also experiencing similar problem. Did you manage to resolve this issue. I would be grateful if you could share your solution here with me.

My iphone was locked with O2...which I have now got unlocked, but still only lyca sim does'nt work. All other sim work including lebara.

Is there anyone from Apple support who could help please!!

Regards

M
