My trackpad is clicking when I don't want it to?

This started a few days ago and it is really irritating. When I am using my laptop normally and moving the cursor around and clicking, it randomly decides to click, highlight, or drag things around. Sometimes when I am changing tabs in Google Chrome the trackpad decides that it wants to grab the tab and not let go until I click again, when this happens it usually makes a new Chrome window. Does anyone know what is wrong? Yes, I have restarted my laptop a lot.
