How do I disable norton 360 ?

I have been advised (by a helpful support community member) to "disable" Norton 360 temporarily in order to attempt a download from itunes which currently I cannot do. How do I do this? i.e. Do I remove the entire program and install later, or something else? Thanks

iPod nano (7th generation), Windows 7

Hello,

Here is how you can temporarily disable the Norton product:

1. Go to System tray (bottom-right corner of your screen).

2. Right-click the Norton 360 icon.

3. Click Disable Auto-Protect and disable Smart Firewall.

Please do not forget to re-enable them.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!
