I am having problems with Safari running extremely slow. After running EtreCheck these are the results. What are your recommendations?

Boot in Recovery mode. In the OS X Utilities screen, select Get Help Online. A clean copy of Safari will launch. No plugins, such as Flash, will be available. While in Recovery, you'll have no access to your saved bookmarks or passwords, so make a note of those before you begin, if they're needed for the test.


Test. After testing, reboot as usual and post the results.

I lanched Safari in R mode and the program ran ok with the exception of videos on YouTube not loading due to the lack of Flash.

I have connected the computer to a completely different network and it seems to be working fine. It is hard to say if the improvement in performance is due to changing networks or the adjustments based on your recommendations. EIther way the computer and network seem to be working fine now.
