connect turntable to hifi input?

You need an pre-amp with built in RIAA Phono input, plug your turntable with this pre-amp (Phono input) then a RCA->minijack cable to the input of the back of iPod Hifi

Some decks, like the Stanton STR8 series, have digital out. I guess you can just plug these straight in to the iPod Hi-Fi.

I use an NuMark DM 1002 MK2 Mixer hooked to 2 Stanton scratch turntables and 1 American CD scratcher then a Monster Audio Cable and...
