SLI or Crossfire support?

I've looked far and wide and not found an answer to this question (which means the answer is probably staring me in the face...): do these new Mac Pros and the GeForce 7300 and ATI x1900 support SLI or Crossfire?

The PCIe interface is there and the slots are the right size but I haven't read whether multiple graphics cards working in tandem (i.e. 2 graphics cards on 1 monitor) is supported.

I really, really hope it is but I'm pretty doubtful at this point.

Nvidia doesn't write drivers for Apple. Apple writes their own Nvidia drivers from the source code provided to them from Nvidia.

I know little about Crossfire, but it looks more Probable right now out of the box than SLI does. It might even work now, but If it needs a specific driver I'm not sure.

No, I didn't, but there would be loads of rumors about it. Eric, no, they wouldn't work at the mo, and SLi is better than Crossfire (not being a fanboy to either solution). Somebody could write drivers, though, and create a new mobo for Apple, Crossfire will become a cable free solution soon, using the mobo to connect the two GPU's with internal wiring.

Like I said I know little about crossfire, but from the picture I saw, all I noticed was a cable attaching two XTX cards, and from that pic it appeared like it could work in two 8X slots possibly.
There must be more to it than just that.

the motherboard does not have the required chipset/hardware to enable/allow crossfire or any sli setup. no way it willwork unless apple releases new hardware and drivers.
