How can I get my iPad to stop crashing?????

My iPad crashes ALL, and I do mean ALL the time. I have yet to meet anyone who's iPad crashes as much as mine does!!! And when it crashes 7 times out of 10, whatever I was doing before it crashed is gone.

The safari page I was on, I will have to get back to that page myself.

If I was playing a game, I lose my chips, monies, and anything else I had done before my iPad crashed.

I have to restart everything and yet I have LOST what ever I had used in the game???

That ain't right

And it ain't fair.

Does ANYONE have any idea on how this can be fixed?

Or is it just because it is my iPad and it's going to keep cheating me and ripping me off????

Please, help???

Well, there are many possible causes. My guess is you have more than one.

Check Settings > General > Usage and make sure you have at least 15% of your space free on your device.

Take note of what app(s) are running when the crash occurs. That is the responsible app for the crash. You almost certainly have one or more corrupt apps on your iPad. Remove the suspicious ones.

Try a restore. Plug your iPad into current iTunes, let it sync, then choose "Restore" from the iPad's summary page in iTunes. Again, be very careful about reloading suspicious apps.

You need to tell us what version of iPad and iOS you have before anyone can do more than eat popcorn and watch the rant.

I have an iPad 1, running the latest version of iOS it supports (5.1.1), with 20 gb out of 64 gb used and it crashes continuously too. There really isn't anything you're going to do to fix it. App developers are not making a point of testing apps updated for iOS7 are backward compatible with this ancient version of iOS. They're moving on. If you own the original iPad it's time to trade it in. Or suffer through the crashes.

But you do understand that this is not a case of one app that's bad, right? Every app is being updated for iOS 7.0. If the app developer is smart enough to know that the app can't run on 5.1.1 after updating for iOS 7.0 they can prevent it from installing on iPad 1. But that would require the app developer do regression testing against 5.1.1 to ensure that that the new tweak for iOS 7.0 doesn't break it. I can tell you few, if any do.

This is simply not a resource limitation issue on iPad 1; it's a deprecated technology issue with no workaround.

Chrome, Safari, News360, yada yada yada all crash all the time. If you run the same webpage on a iPad running iOS 7.0, you're golden, it runs perfectly.
